Job 14:8

SV	Indien zijn wortel in de aarde veroudert, en zijn stam in het stof versterft;
WLC	אִם־יַזְקִ֣ין בָּאָ֣רֶץ שָׁרְשֹׁ֑ו וּ֝בֶעָפָ֗ר יָמ֥וּת גִּזְעֹֽו׃
Trans.	’im-yazəqîn bā’āreṣ šārəšwō ûḇe‘āfār yāmûṯ gizə‘wō:

AC	ח אם-יזקין בארץ שרשו ובעפר ימות גזעו
ASV	Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, And the stock thereof die in the ground;
BE	Though its root may be old in the earth, and its cut-off end may be dead in the dust;
Darby	Though its root grow old in the earth, and its stock die in the ground,
ELB05	Wenn seine Wurzel in der Erde altert, und sein Stumpf im Boden erstirbt:
LSG	Quand sa racine a vieilli dans la terre, Quand son tronc meurt dans la poussière,
Sch	Wenn seine Wurzel in der Erde auch alt wird und sein Stumpf im Staub erstirbt,
